- Improve usability based on user feedback
- Add features based on merchant feature requests, relevant competitors, and emerging technology
- Allow for robust functionality with a modern feel that will accomodate accountants and non-accountant users at novice and expert levels
- Present complex workflows in aesthetically pleasing, intuitive layouts that bring a consumer product feel to a B2B application
- Create clean and airy designs for repeated use, with strategic pops of color
- Use modular design patterns that will accommodate new functionality added in the future
- Satisfy principles of good UX design and specifically Nielsen’s 10 heuristics for user-friendly design
- (e.g. minimize the user’s need to recall training, give flexibility and efficiency of use, prevent errors, have UI consistency, provide visibility of system status, etc.)
